Congrats to Harloe on this beautiful book! She is another new author I have discovered on this wonderful book blogging journey. I’m really looking forward to reading her other books, Redefining Us & Forget You Not ( a 2 Book Series)!
Right from the beginning, I felt an instant connection to Ryker. When I was in school, I typically stayed to myself. I was an introvert and I never really knew how to fit in with everyone else. I never experienced the bullying that he did, but I know what it feels like to feel alone in this world. The way he felt about himself made my heart hurt for him. I wanted to protect him….like he wanted to protect Lennon.
I don’t want to give too much away because I want you to experience the same beautiful story as I did. At times, I feel like I’m a little different than other people, so I appreciated Ryker’s efforts. He expressed himself the only way he knew how and I found that romantic in itself.
Watch Me Follow was perfectly paced. I didn’t feel like the author was dragging the story out. I was eager to turn the pages and find out what was going to happen next.
