“I am the monster they created. I’m the whore they’re ashamed of.”

When life tried to break me I grabbed that b*tch by the throat and squeezed.

I thought I could overcome anything.
I swore I could handle him, but after being forced to play at the Devil’s playground I ended up craving his touch.

One taste of his poison made my loyalties begin to waiver.

“I’m a living nightmare, I’m everything they fear.”

I’ve been called the Devil, deranged, and a savage.

I lived by a code created by rebel souls. We were sinners and thieves that made no apologies for taking whatever the f*ck we wanted.

Saving a girl in the woods was never part of my plans, but when I saw the crazy in her eyes I knew it was a match made in hell.

Now secrets are piling up, the bodies are rotting, and time is running out to finish what I started.

Forewarning, our story is more than a little f*cked up.

Authors Note : 18+
I am not going to put a long ‘warning’ on this book. I will say that Savages is a VERY cautionary tale that has no regard for hard limits. Reader discretion IS highly advised.

*This book contains dystopian elements*

I just happened to be scrolling through Facebook and came across a sponsored ad for Savages. The cover is the first thing that caught my eye. I read the description and decided to give it a try since it’s FREE on Kindle Unlimited! I read this book in one sitting. I’ve never read anything by Natalie Bennett before, but I am a fan now! I can’t wait for Deviants (Badlands Book 2) to come out on Feb 22nd!

I don’t typically read books like this. I can’t think of a book I’ve read in the past that has had a dystopian element. I love trying new things, so this was exciting for me! I will warn you that this book is extremely disturbing. It’s gruesome, violent, and it will make your stomach churn at times. I’m pretty good at handling things like that, so I survived reading it, but it’s not for the faint of heart.

Cali is the most deranged women I’ve read about, but my inner crazy girl cheered her on throughout the book! She may be small, but she is a kick-ass woman and I wouldn’t want to be on her bad list. When Romero and Cali meet in the woods, the story becomes even more twisted. They are a force to be reckoned with. Romero is a true savage, but has he met his match with Cali?

The ending of the book was literally jaw-dropping. I could not believe it! It had me questioning everything I had thought throughout the book. It’s definitely a major cliffhanger. Thankfully, the 2nd book comes out on Feb 22nd! I am DYING to know what is going to happen!
